The swivels work well but with cold fingers they might be tricky - so far they work great for me and I use them for Salmon fishing with spoons etc.

I have no idea why some reviews say these rings are "too tight" and they need snap ring pliers or something to open the ring up. Those people are obviously doing it wrong. These rings are brilliant, and super fast to put lures/leaders on AND take them off. See that little "L" in the middle of the loop? Just put the loop of your lure/leader over it, and pull down and up the other side. And to take it off? Just pull the lure/leader over the "L" again. It takes literally like one second. These are way faster than any snap rings I've used. What I also like about these is that there's no protruding pieces of metal outside the loop. It's all smooth. I do all my fishing in weeds (bass etc), and regular snap rings have little sharp protrusions of metal that have a tendency to pick up weeds. These don't.Anyway, thumbs up on these.

These work, but the smaller sizes definitely need a split ring tool to get lure hardware unto it. Just too hard to open with a fingernail. Biggest sizes are easier. Haven't lost a fish yet, so that's a win. Swivels are smooth.

I bought 35lb..test it on my scale and they broke easily at 23 to 25..to bad I opened the box ..if I knew it I will ask a refund
