I do not recommend products I myself wouldn't use.He does a lot of projects around the house and he's always needing a part here or a tool there.Sometimes he has to improvise.He does HVAC and is always working with PVC threaded fittings. This is a great tool set to have on hand in case he doesn't have the correct fittings on his truck.It's not part of his stock on his work truck and if need be, he can use them at home too.It'll be nice to save a few bucks if possible.Great to have and definitely recommend.

This is great for making your own threads on pvc pipe. The cost of threaded fittings are getting out of control. this al least saves the cost of male threaded fittings.works well with drill, just go slowly.

I bought this set specifically to cut outside threads on 1/2" schedule 40 pvc pipe.Although I didn't try them, the taps look right.
