Installed battery in November 2024 in my iPod Touch, used it about a dozen or so times. Went to play it today and discovered the battery was swollen and therefore, not usable. Tried to contact the seller, but Amazon mobile app is not helpful. Anyway, if you purchase the battery, beware you may only get a few uses.

My ipod touch 7th gen battery would no longer hold a charge so I bought this replacement. Battery came in brand new with a manufacturing year of 2024. Procedure required a heat gun and some soldering equipment but it wasn’t too bad. Powered on the ipod and battery info showed it was last fully charged in July 2024 which I assume it was the time of manufacturing. Battery works perfect and lasts about the same time as the original battery when it was new 👍
