My husband uses this when he works on ac units and it works well. A good buy especially if you don't want to spend a lot of money on this tool. The fit was pretty good and it does the job.

It's well made and my expectations were extremely high for this turbo torch knockoff. But the reality is this thing lacks the precise engineering that makes a turbo torch tip what it is. This tip taught me there is a very good reason for turbo torch's high price tag. Does the tip work? Yes. Does it eventually get hot enough for brazing? Although technically yes, it operates MUCH cooler than its turbo torch equivalent. If you are an occasional user, you may find this adequate. However, if you have a career or business in commercial refrigeration like I do, you will find this tip is not good enough. For soft soldering, this thing is great. I used it for stay brite 8 and will keep it in my box for soldering. But brazing, stick with turbo torch. If you use this torch and compare it to a true A-3 you will see what I mean.

The striker is your standard flint striker, great for torches of all varieties. The torch is suitable for any G4 quick connect system as the description says.

My fiancé is a welder and goes through replacement tips often. These work great and are good quality.

Looking forward to using this on my air acetylene torch kit once it arrives. Torch is well made, and conveniently comes with a flint striker.One caveat to this torch is though it fits my Yeswelder air acetylene torch handle because the tip is so massive and heavy If you hold it sideways in other words, the tip facing to the left or right horizontally it’s so heavy the torc tip will actually rotate downward slightly because of the weight. The only thing that really holds the tip in the torch handle is the friction between the O-ring and the body of the torch and the torch handle itself.

I added a line for a pot filler in my kitchen remodel. This tip fit my Turbo torch perfectly. It fit securely and operated as it should. the A11 tip worked better than the A-5 tip that I had .

This A-3, 3/16” Turbo Torch Tip will handle 1/4”- 1” soft solder or 1/8”- 1/2” silver braze jobs. Solid brass construction and is of the Quick Disconnect Style. It is designed to accommodate PLF-A5 or G4 Torch handles. These type tips are not cheap but this particular offering seems well worth the asking price, it appears they are on sale at the time of this review so now would be a buying opportunity. They offer several different sizes to fit your needs. I would recommend these especially at the sale price. 5🌟’s

Although this A-3 torch tip is not a name brand, it is good quality. The torch tip goes easily into my G-4 handle, holds well, and also removes easily. There’s no noticeable difference in the flame and the machining on this is nicely done. I’m happy with this so far and will likely try the other sizes if I find the need for bigger torch tips on my air-acetylene setup.
