Finally had a chance to try this product. It worked well, but the instructions were awful for a beginner. The instructions were blue ink on blue paper. Had to take a magnifying glass to read, and then retype them, so I would remember them. Comes with an extra screw for the handle. For a beginner, die cuts do etch the plate, so eventually these will need to be replaced. The included butterfly die cut is very detailed and the cut out gets stuck in the die cut. Need a roller brush with the other end pointed ( not included) to get out small pieces. An even better tip I saw online was to take the paper stuck to a die cut on to 8 folds thick to dryer paper, put 3 mm cover sheet on top, then roll through machine again. The paper is not stuck to the dryer sheet and can be easily pulled off. The embossing worked well, but found the instructions said to place a 3 mm sheet on top. This would not run through the machine, so placed the 2 mm sheet on top instead.

Just one month ago on July 11 2024 I bought this machine for the 2nd time. The picture above with the crack in it is the base plate. I looked everywhere I could think of online to try to purchase another plate, since everything else is still good, to no avail. The reason I bought a 2nd one of this model is that may e eventually I would find a base plate to replace it, and either sell it, or keep it as a spare. Everything is fine with the prior machine except for the base plate. It became so cracked that it eventually just fell apart. I thought that maybe if I was more gentle with the new one that it wouldn't happen again. The new one I have isn't even a month old, has been used a lot less than my first one, and it cracked a little while ago anyhow. To say the least I'm so upset. Between this machine and my Circuit I am trying to start a little Etsy store to sell greeting cards, so I'm dependent on this machine right now. I finally wrote to Amazon because it's just ridiculous for this to happen so quickly again. I'm waiting on their reply, and I hope the issue will be resolved, and I can come back here with an update! If you're thinking about buying one of these I would take into consideration the trouble both of these has caused me!

After only three months of minimal use, I need to replace one of the plates. The 2 mm plate s not offered and is an inportant component to embossing and die cutting. I can't find this size anywhere so I'm basically out $100 when it becomes unusable. They don't offer very many embossing folders or die cuts so you have to shop elsewhere if you want a variety. I'm new to this and didn't know very much and I feel taken advantage of. These plates wear out and need to be replaced. Unfortunately, I will have to buy a different brand that sells replacement parts.

I've had a Cricut for several years, but been wanting a die machine for intricate cuts. I decided on a small machine to test them out. Cuts great. Easy to use. The plates get messed up quickly but after investigating I found out this is very normal. Glad I bought some additional dies at the same time, I was ready to start creating immediately. The card is my first project. I'm very pleased I got it it!

I have used this press cutter machine, a 6 inch, to make accessories for cardmaking. It works as well as other more expensive machines. Does a good job but I am using brand new cutting plates. Perfect for a beginner with a good accessory being offered with it.

I wish just like Amazon dot in there was a provision to upload photos and videos to the reviews here... anyway, the product is just AMAZING. I was skeptical about the "embossing" job after reading some reviews and that was the first thing I tried after receiving it. Whatever platforms and embossing plate was received with the die cutting machine, doesn't work for embossing. I had to use a cutting mat in the sandwich replacing one of the acrylic plate.Pros: ✅️Embossess perfectly... A full sized A4 size paper effortlessly slides through the sandwich. As shown in the picture - an A4 size embossing sheet, A4 colored sheets, 1 SMALL butterfly die cut + 1 floral die cut and clear rubber stamps received. I'm very ❤️❤️ satisfied with what I received for AED 418. Huge but can be folded when not in use, thereby minimising the space occupancy.Cons: ❌️The acrylic sandwich plates are very fragile and delicate. They can break easily.Also, after every die cut they leave a mark on the acrylic plate. BE CAUTIOUS NOT TO TRY DIE CUTTING if you are skeptical about keeping it.HEAVY (of course it need to be to get the perfect results) - so better be ready to allot a permanent space for this gentle giant.
