If you have a "standard" ID badge or license then these pockets will fit them perfectly. The item is very easily readable through the pocket, with minimal glare, Ironically, I think these might be a little bit more useful if you don't have a sturdy and permanent card because the main protective benefit of this is less useful. You could definitely use these with just a slip of paper or a bit of index card in them. The ultimate value of this item is a little hard to gauge because how valuable your card is (and how it is used) can vary wildly.Nevertheless, if you need to keep water, dust, abrasion, etc off your card then this will work well.
