This is a new small block Chevy oil pan. OEM style - fits '58-'79 2 piece rear main seal 283, 305, 307, 327, 350, and 400 engines. Does not fit '62-'67 Chevy II, Novas, Chevelles, or V8 Vega with steering behind crossmember.

- Stock 4 qt. pan capacity

unless i received a factory defect,while trying to get the bolts in theres no room between the bolt and pan to slide ur socket over i had a heck of a time tightning the bolts had to use a wrench open end.definitly a flaw.

Fast delivery, seems very well made of heavy steel, but the chrome plating is pretty poor. I am not sending back because I need to get my motor together and this really does not show that much. BUT you guys gotta step up the chrome plating. Doing it right cannot cost any more than doing it poor and risking returns!Price is good, but description should be clear that the chrome quality will be poor to keep cost low.The chrome on the largest part of the pan is perfect, but almost nothing near the flanges and up to an inch away is dull low plating.

I have not installed this oil pan yet, it looks good and for the price it was not worth sanding and painting my old chromeoil pan. I would not hesitate to buy this again.
