Item is exactly as described, the quality is good, rolls easily, I think the price is just ($16 for 4) when I bought it, wish it came in other colors but this is fine.

These fit in the existing sleeves for caster wheels with 1/5-inch stems in two vintage lawyer/banker style wood chairs and greatly improved the mobility of those chairs. The hardest part of the replacement process was removing the old casters.

I make trunks.... this is my go-to castor for all of them. Sturdy, can handle some weigh, good quality. Finish is very nice. Pleased with them in everyday, definitely recommend.

I found a really nice used wooden office chair at the thrift store. It was in really great condition except for the wheels, which were missing. These arrived quickly and are perfect for the chair. They look like what the original wheels might have looked like. They roll smoothly and look amazing. So glad I found them.

Initially they appear just fine and functional. Hard to assess long term. That's the only reason I rated a 4 instead of a 5.

Me and my hubby decided to treat ourselves to having the lounge, including the ceiling repapered and painted, and so most of the furniture had to be removed from that room. I always wondered why the sofa was so hard to move (to vacc behind etc.) but the mystery was soon solved by the appearance of two broken casters which one would not expect, after paying £ 2500 for the sofa ! Neither are we overweight or have unruly grandchildren who jump on it ! Upon inspection, the existing casters were poorly made for the price of the sofa, and overall very disappointing ! As soon as we took the new casters out of the box we could see the difference in quality, the new casters being robustly made and oh so simple to fit-what a relief ! Our sofa now glides in and out of where it is situated with the gentle push of two fingers and has made a massive difference to us - both unfortunately suffering from back problems. I never thought I would ever get excited about casters but it has actually happened. I cannot praise them enough and a big thank you from two golden oldies !

Sorry for the mess in the garage…no, not sorry. It’s work in progress. We are undergoing a home renovation. I’m lucky to have found space in there to work!!!We bought a pre-owned Thomasville 7 piece, rolling club chair, dining room set from Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore Store, in Jenks, Oklahoma last month. Other that a few nicks and rubs, the set was in great shape. And we need more room for a family of six! This is a perfect set for our kitchen. We soon found out that the wheels on the chairs are a bit suspect…The original dual sided, plastic disc wheels on the six chairs were falling apart, bit by bit. I thought at first it was maybe dirt…but no, it was plastic, falling apart off the wheel. Those wheels needed replacing. I was forever sweeping up bits and pieces of plastic wheel after a meal, several times a day.We found these ball wheels in bronze, which match the original color on the housing on the replaced wheels, and we snagged the six sets of four wheels per box here on Amazon, and we were 😁 very happy! These are very sturdy wheels. I ordered these on 4/10/22 and they arrived on 4/13/2022.I immediately set about fixing the chairs. I took the time to tighten each of the bolts and screws on the chairs as I worked on them. And why not? These kind of chairs take a beating just rolling around and being sat on, and since I already had them flipped over, it just made sense to tighten up all the joints. There are no instructions on HOW to install these, but it is pretty straightforward. So, I pulled out the old wheels, which came out with their metal sleeves. The new metal sleeves have a sawtooth design, meant to grip the wood. I inserted the new metal sleeves and GENTLY tapped them in place. Then I inserted the stem of each wheel into the sawtooth metal sleeve and gently tapped that into place. GENTLY! Don’t mash them into place, as there are no extra pieces in these boxes! The metal sleeve will bite into the wood chair legs, and once you tap the wheel into place, the wheel stem will snag the tip of the sawtooth metal sleeve. Between the weight of your body when you sit and gentle tapping, the wheel will engage with the metal sleeve and the sawtooth will go into the wood.It took me about 40 minutes to do the six chairs. And the wheels roll around really well! I am pleased and love the fact I have reused a great dining set!

These casters were a replacement. The equipment now runs smoothly and moves with little effort and no noise. Easy to replace, just slotted into the old mountings. Excellent purchase. Delivered on time and well packaged.
