To be honest I don't think this set was bad, just a lot of trash that came with it. The easiest one is the little sticks. I don't knowbwhat it's for but there was 105 of them and I don't know if it's to also do more counting which is weird

I ordered this abacus for my son who is 5 and just starting to learn addition and subtraction. This wooden abacus is a good size; not too bulky but large enough that the beads are easy to manipulate. The abacus is sturdy. The wood is smooth with no sharp edges. I like the little ledge on the top for holding the cards. The counting sticks are small but seem well made and I like that they are painted the same colors as the abacus beads. They will be a nice supplementary tool. There is also a hard sided storage case included for the counting sticks and math cards. Overall, the quality of this set exceeded my expectations especially for the price and will be a great teaching aid as my son starts to learn basic math.

If you struggle with math homework with elementary level children, this is a must have. I have a toddler that loves putting everything in their mouth. We tried the counters but they became an item that’s just dangerous to have, got lost into the abysss. Here you have a complete tool at your hands that is fun, made with the best quality. It’s a wooden counter. It’s made so strong. The beads are soft pastel colors. It’s made homework so much easier. My first grader is catching on faster now to addition and it’s finally clicking. This has been such an amazing support with little effort in use. The visualization of see the numbers and being able to move the beads some how has kicked his memory into gear where he sailing through the problems now. My heart so happy. It’s given him more confidence and just a little boost to help along. My toddler also obsessed with it and it’s trying to move the beads and counting. It’s supporting him learning the numbers and visualization of how many are present. It’s toddler tough! This thing is unbreakable. I can’t say enough great things about this highly successful product and all the benefits it’s giving attributing to successful learning. No more tears! The price tag worth it and I’m surprised for the quality that it’s actually not marketed in a higher bracket price. Support your child and make life easier! Teachers get this in your classroom and parents of toddlers teach them young. You won’t be disappointed.

I have kiddos that struggle with math. I LOVE that this is a hands on approach and that it stands on its own. We have one but it doesn’t stand so it is frustrating to use. The cards were easy to separate. They are not thick or laminated but I feel they will work well. The sticks are durable, nicely colored. I appreciate the storage box as it securely tightens and keeps everything organized. I think the quality and value align very well!

I got this to introduce abacus math with my kids, just so they could see how it works (get the concept). I'm quite pleased with the quality of it and how easy it is to use. To me this was really well-priced for a very, very, very beginner abacus. Highly recommend.

My 3.5 year old can't learn numbers by just counting, she needs a sensory toy/ teaching kit so this kit helps her focus so easily in counting with nice pastel design. The sticks are small but easy nonslippery for my little one's fingers which make it easy for her to maneuver them. The price is very affordable and the wooden material is safe for the kid.

This is a well-made and useful counting tool. There are some extras with it we will not use, like the tiny sticks. The main abacus is great and can be used for addition and subtraction as well as multiplication and even division.
