I got top surgery (ie a double mastectomy) about a week ago, and the hospital put an item like this on me afterward to compress my chest and minimize swelling. The hospital's binder was stiff and didn't have rounded corners, plus I wasn't allowed to shower for at least a week after surgery, so I wanted to get myself a clean, comfier binder to change into after my one-week follow up appointment. This binder is doing just fine for that purpose.It's a bit flimsier than the one from the hospital, but it's less than half the price of the hospital one so that's to be expected. The thinness makes it more comfortable anyway.It's giving me a nice amount of compression, and the rounded corners mean that if I do it up a bit unevenly I'm not getting poked. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase. And when I had a question about the product, the manufacturer responded quickly and helpfully.My chest is 42"ish and I opted to buy the size L so I had more leeway for adjustment and so there would be more overlap in front to protect my incisions. I'm glad I went with the larger size because the M would have to be pulled REALLY tight just for the ends to meet and I don't think I need to be squished THAT hard! (But if I do want more squish I can just pull the size L tighter!)

I wore this for 8 days straight after my full hysterectomy and it was wonderful. It was a little big. I could’ve gotten away with a size small, but again this was a life saver. I can’t express it enough. It helped so much with my pain.

This damage is from me trying it on. Poor quality. Very upset I have to purchase an entirely new one for my recovery. Poor sizing, material, and wouldn't recommend.

This was a good product, but by comparrison, a bit more expensive model we tried worked better for us. No major complaints. Okay for medium duty use.

I bought a large because a female modeled it. It is huge. I should’ve bought a medium. It wasn’t made clear in the description that it is unisex.

I bought this after my gall bladder was removed to supplement the one I got at the hospital. It worked okay, but the velcro was not durable and it was impossible to remove stains. It served it's purpose, but only barely. It would not be good for any long term use.

This abdominal binder is like a supportive best friend—always there to lift me up and hold me together, literally. After surgery, I felt like my insides might just make a break for it, but this bad boy said, 'Not today!' It hugs me tighter than my grandma at Thanksgiving and doesn’t judge my extra dessert choices. Bonus: wearing it makes me feel like a superhero in a utility belt. It’s comfy, breathable, and honestly, I might keep wearing it just to feel this put-together. Five stars—it’s like Spanx, but with a medical degree!
