These scissors work well for young children and children with fine motor delays. The cost is prohibitive. I would have liked to purchase several more pairs for my classroom but they are too expensive.

One of the best scissors on the market for teaching children with decreased hand strength and coordination to use scissors. Since they spring back open students only need to squeeze in order to cut paper....

I bought several pairs of scissors in search for one that my son would like. Since he has some sensory issues, most scissors had grips or large openings that bothered him. These scissors are smooth, and the openings are small so his fingers don't get lost in the opening. He finds the scissors very comfortable, and he is cutting out shapes now with no assistance. He loved them so much, I purchased a pair for him to take to preschool. You can take off the spring, and they become like regular scissors once they've mastered using them. I highly recommend these scissors. They come in left or right handed.

VERY PLEASED WITH SCISSORS. VERY GOOD FOR MY SON TO USE. BETA THAN THE ONES WITH THE JOINING CURVE BIT AT THE END OF THE HANDLES, MY SON KEPT TRYING TO CHEW THAT BIT AND THEN WHEN SLIGHTLY MIS SHAPED THE SCISSORS STOP OPENING BY THEMSELVES. THESE MORE ROBUST, THE ONLY THING I WOULD SAY IS THAT THEY BIT TOO SHARP AND GOOD. QUICK DELIVERY TOO . THANK YOU
