I did a lot of research before I ordered my two ABUS U locks and after going to the best of the best, I decided that ABUS was the best lock money can buy. I must say that I have a lot of peace of mind when leaving my ebikes locked outside. so far nothing or any intent but I guess thieves know with what they are messing with and it's a lost chance if they try, plus I always lock my Eahora Romeo Pro II ebike with 2 ABUS U locks and One Kryptonite (forget it about) chain ... Thieves got NO CHANCE. It's a pricey lock but WORTH IT . I don't negotiate my peace of mind, I'm pretty sure that my ebike is going to be always there, lock and safe like a fortress with ABUS locks ... Cheers

This lock really addresses the needs of the modern e-bike user: it resists angle grinder attacks, it is larger than the other competitors in the space so I can easily lock both my rear wheel and frame to a large diameter bike racks, is super easy to use, and is not unreasonably heavy at 5 lbs.Nice features are that the U portion of the lock is overmolded in plastic, which addresses the issues of the silicone sleeves of other locks. The lock mechanism looks to have o-rings to keep dirt and grit out, which is another complaint.It's not cheap, but it's competitively priced with all the other options in this category. I'm very happy with it. Well done, Abus.
