My college-age daughter is kind of a speed-crazed driver in her SRX which isn't the newest car around but sure fun for her, and she keeps it really nice. But I want her to cool down on the speed, and stay cool inside the car - here in Florida you need AC even in winter, and you need need NEED it for sure in Summer, which starts in about February for Central Florida. Compressor fits fine and runs great with high pressures generating super cold output at the vents.Big RECOMMEND on this unit with the note that when you install it you should do as I did and be SURE to fully EVAC the whole system completely first, or the old junk will come back to break your new compressor.

This is a heavy duty solidly constructed replacement compressor pump. The machining of the pump is excellent and looks to be a duplicate of the OEM pump made to replace. My visual inspection of this is well-made and for the price compared to OEM is a huge savings.
