I thought it was the resistor going out because of the way the blower motor was acting. It wasn't. It was actually the blower motor itself....but I'm going to keep the old resistor as a spare because of the prices on everything going up

I had no issue installing and I was hopeful that the description was accurate with respect to the claims of being a better quality and able to compensate for GM's original poor design resulting in overheating/burning. 2 pins had melting around them so as expected I lost speed 4 and then ultimately all power to the blower.I have also replaced the blower previously so there is no question the resistor and replacement harness quality are the issue.

So far the part is working great. First one died almost immediately.

Correct for 2007 Tahoe with dual zone controls. These fail from overheated power connections. Fortunately this comes with the replacement plug connection. Because of that, you will need a good quality pair of crimping pliers to do this installation correctly or you will have hot connections in the future. This product took care of my circulation fan operation and I highly recommend it.
