Be cautious purchasing these. I purchased these for 2004 dodge ram 2500. They fit in the socket but do not illuminate. LEDs were turned 180° for polarity. Still didn't work. May have to replace comlplete heater/ac module per research.

Use small needle nose pliers to grip in the grooves and twist old ones out/ pull, push new ones in and gently twist clockwise until seated. If the bulbs are not fully twisted in tight then the lights flicker / go out. Taking apart the dash on the 05 Ram is super easy. A single Phillips screw by the plastic hook adjacent to the glove box and a little gentle prying and tugging and the whole front radio/hvac/vent assembly comes off (otherwise only clipped in).I bought ICE blue hoping it would match the ice blue of the white gauges of my dash cluster, it doesn’t and actually appears rather dark. If you’re looking to match the white version may be a better choice.

Tricky to install but small tweezers will twist it right into place. That is just the nature of the bulb piece, small. Product itself works great as other states very bright. Much cheaper than the $30/bulb from parts store.

These were installed in a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. I originally bought some Dorman Brand replacements, but they were the wrong ones. I ended up buying these after reading a bunch of reviews. The reviews about finding the correct polarity are correct. I used a 12V power source to mark the + & - on each bulb and a DVOM meter to find the + & - on the HVAC cluster. Easy enough if you have the tools and some shade tree mechanics knowledge. I did buy the wrong color lamps, but it's not to bad. The LED lamps are very bright though. The 1st time driving at night they seemed to be annoyingly bright...that was just the first night. I'm used to it now and happy to be able to see my HVAC controls again. I would buy them again, however I'd pay more attention to the color. These are bright blue where the originals were greenish blue.
