No directions you pretty much need to know what you're doing with the AC unit The filter is the oil but for the price I guess it was worth it

This compressor is humming right along. I wanted to wait a couple of months before reviewing. Very Happy! This came with the oil, seals, orifice tube, and dryer.

Very good price. I bought this same product for a different vehicle two years ago and it is still working properly with no problems. Just be aware, that it doesn't come with a high pressure switch, which is installed in the back of the compressor. You can use your old switch it you are able to remove it. I haven't installed this purchase yet. I will update the review in the future if necessary.

Absolutely no problems at all so far. It arrived on time, packaged well, and all the parts were complete. Im coming up on a year since I installed it in my silverado. Im very pleased with this product, and the price was reasonable. All i can say is living in south texas, the a/c is a must..... and by saying that, it's running constantly all the time and it works just fine. It cools like it should, compressor runs just fine and clicks on normal like it should, and for that I think it deserves a 5 star rating for sure......

Well.. I'm that person that normally doesn't write reviews even though I should. But when in this case there may be a lot of people out there thinking like I was... Hmm, with this price.. I wonder if it's really worth buying or is it a piece of crap? Well.. I installed it on my 2001 Silverado Z71.. So, for the first few months, runs like a well greased wheel but then the fairy tale starts to climax... Starts with a lovely little whine when you accelerate.. Hey I can handle this... we still rocking along blowing cold with that whine I told ya about, everything is pretty much peachy dreams around here.. Hey look I just made it to my warranty date... Yay for me! Lets celebrate this milestone and shine my lovely truck and drive it to work on this "Hawwwt" August day... Well, I was either hit by an asteroid or maybe there was some sort of nuclear reactor accident somewhere but this is where my lovely story turns South.. The most God awful squeal-like growling monster erupts from underneath my hood hissing and taking scores of prisoners with it!! Did I mention the warranty just ran out?? Well, I guess every love story has to end sometime.. I will give this package 2 stars for the nice array of orings and the lovely lil jug of compressor oil that it came with.. very nice, I tell ya! but as for the compressor... BIG OLE HUNK OF FLAMING CRAP!! BUY THE AC DELCO COMPRESSOR LIKE IM ABOUT TO DO!!!!

I did not know how to get in touch with you. (I hope this is the seller). I am very disappointed with this compressor. Let me explain to you what happen. I have replaced the AC EVAPORATOR, I have replaced he AC CONDENSER, I have replaced ed the AC ACCUMULATOR and the AC EXPANSION TUBE. I ordered a vaccine pump from Amazon, which started cutting on and off. As you can see have done a lot of work and expense. After I installed the AC compressor, (with new pag 46 oil) and evacuated the AC system.I started adding R134a to the AC system, I ran out of R134a so I had to go back into town to buy another can. When I got home I tried to finish adding the R134a to the system, I noticed smoke coming from the AC clutch. I immediately shut my truck off, I.could see the AC clutch had gotten very hot. After I let the system cooled down, I discovered he AC clutch would not come back on. I do not know what happened. I had no problem adding the first came. As I went back on to Amazon I noticed that there is no more of theses compressor left. I do not know if this is a Warranty matter, I was just going to purchase another compressor. It is very difficult and time consuming to remove the compressor and wait for the seller determine if this is a warranty matter.If you could let me know if you can get another compressor I would appreciate it.
