I ordered the part number that applies to my pickup, a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado standard cab pickup, and this has that part number, but it's not the correct one. The electrical connection is completely different.Not the seller's fault. This is completely on AC Delco/GM. They stopped producing the part and figured no one would notice if they just "subbed" it with another one that can't be used.

Bought this for my 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. Delivery was quick and easy, installed much easier than I anticipated. The design is different than the original. The electrical connector is the same as the original but oriented 180 degrees opposite. I guess they consolidated to meet design requirements of the host of other GM cars using the same sensor. No worries though, wire harness is plenty long enough to accommodate.

Works as it should and a great price. Easy to install start at drivers side and pry up defroster panel as you move toward passenger side. Lift up and unplug and unscrew old and screw in new, plug back in and push panel back down. Done. A dealer told me it would be about $400 to fix it. HAH!!!

So difficult to determine the right part for this vehicle, 03 GMC Yukon Denal XL. So many different modifications on this same vehicle fo the same year. The description and chart helped get the correct part. Works as designed.

Called a dealer, where they wanted $29 for one of these, so for less than $13, it's a great buy. Installed it & it works like a charm...headlights & interior lights once again go on & off (headlights) or brighten & dim (interior) at the appropriate time.
