What i did like about this product is, it works what I didn't like the head of the motor is to long couldn't put my blower motor cover back on.

Installed in 2000 GMC Sierra SL standard cab short box. The OEM motor is about 1/2" shorter than this motor, which caused the cover (that attaches to the bottom of the motor) to not fit properly and needed modification to make work. Not enough of a hassle to return, but enough to probably triple the amount of time needed to install. Technically, the cover could probably been left off, but the motor doesn't mount securely enough without the cover, and vibrates without it.

My application was a 2000 GMC 2500 SLE.I entered my part number off of original (23 years old) blower along with description. Looked at a bunch on Amazon, RockA., and a few others and all were $75. and up.Wasn’t looking to spend a lot of $ and especially OEM. My choice.This one came up on Amazon and under $40.Entire replacement/installation took Me under an hour. Once I got it plugged in I made sure all speeds worked before I actually screwed everything back in place.Only issue I see having is….you need to be a human pretzel to do this job. This is why the local mechanic gets $$ to do this.As far as me purchasing an inexpensive unit is because I don’t plan on keeping truck any longer.Overall, replacement product worked.

One of the easiest blower motors to install, took under 15 minutes in the dark. Works perfect and a much more reasonably priced part compared to the $170+ that the local parts stores wanted.
