I purchased a complete a/c kit from Amazon and Buy Auto Parts. The a/c compressor was defective.This compressor makes a loud grinding noise when compressor clutch is engaged.I was finally able to reach a person at Buy Auto Parts by phone and explained this situation. Kathleen was helpful. I paid a core charge for a 2nd compressor of $127.00 and a 2nd compressor was shipped to me. I received a 2nd compressor ,paid mechanic to remove 1st compressor and install 2nd compressor, an additional labor expense to me .The 2nd compressor was installed and it is even louder during operation than the 1st compressor and does not cool as it should. This 2nd compressor makes an excessive loud noise when the a/c compressor clutch engages.I am also still awaiting my refund on my extra core charge of $127.00 as the compressor was returned on 7/28 and received on 8/2.i have received 2 new compressor with same noise defect and still out the original expense of the original purchase + a core charge fee and still have a noisy defective a/c compressor that does not even cool efficiently, and 2 complete and separate labor charges.

COMPRESSOR IS NO GOOD , CANT GET HI-LO PRESSURES WHERE THEY SHOULD BE. SUSPECT BAD INTERNALS .

the kit arrived went bent lines and the condenser openings were oriented wrong, it was a real chore installing this kit, much harder than it should have been

So I have a 2004 Liberty and I am guessing some 2003 parts found their way into it. The compressor kit was pictured just like I needed....but I was sent a different drier. I was working over a holiday so I went and got the parts needed. The company made it right and credited me for what I purchased. Compressor working great and blowing nice and cold.
