I purchased these flooring tiles for my 2 year old niece's playhouse. They were easy to assemble (no instructions needed, just don't over think it), and so far, they have stayed together securely. I did not do anything more than place them on the ground (no prep work to ground for leveling), and it's working out just fine. The photo depicts 20 tiles.

I have been wanting to utilize interlocking flooring tiles, but wanted something I didn't have to cut or put too much work into. So simplicity was something important on my mind and also trying to utilize wooden flooring tiles for a small section, not an entire room. So, I decided to check out the Solid Acacia Wood Interlocking Flooring Tiles. So, how this works is that you get ten of these Solid Acacia Wood Interlocking Flooring Tiles. On two of the sides are these rings and underneath each tile is a connecting portion that extends out that can go through these rings and lock. That's it. It's that easy. With that being said, this is not something that you will cut. And as mentioned, you get 10 of these tiles which are 12 x 12 inches. So, this is best for short spacing. At under $45, they are appropriately price and I have this running on an edge of my home in the living room. It works perfectly for my needs and it looks great. But these are tiles which are great to place an object on top of it. I feel it's not so sturdy to take heavy weight for a lot of people to walk over. It's one of those things that I feel is great to keep on a side of a room, with something that goes on top of it. And the fact that it's weatherproof is a plus.I do like these Solid Acacia Wood Interlocking Flooring Tiles, but they shouldn't be seen as a replacement of wooden floors but works perfectly for short sections and while they can be used outdoors, I think for maintenance and cleanliness, it's best to keep indoors.Recommended!

We've been using this type of flooring for our gazebo and a few other things. So easy and takes little time, incredibly easy to make a great looking floor. It only takes a few minutes so you can easily re-design or make easy repairs. You can mix styles to create patterns in the floor. So far even with different vendors I have found if they have the five connecting holes they work together. They are not that expensive and easy to calculate how many boxes you need. Each piece is a square foot with usually 10 tiles per box which is 100 square feet. Calculate the square feet of your area and divide by 100. The entire system is that easy. They are real wood screwed to a plastic mesh. You can cut them to fill in a space like around the edge but you also have to work in the side with the right connection. Although they could work by just dropping them like in around the edge next to a wall where there will be no traffic. If out in the open getting the sun, rain, snow, etc they will need regular maintenance like all wood does. But inside the gazebo I don't see that being a frequent issue. They are loose but do not come apart. They can make a little clicking noise when you walk on them if the surface isn't perfectly level or the tile isn't perfectly flat. You can't slide furniture across them as they can catch on an edge of a slat. But we don't move the furniture that often, if we do just pick it up.For dirt and dust I just use a battery blower to clean up once in a while. But for an easy great looking floor and relatively inexpensive that you can change at will these are a great way to go.

My first impression out of the box was enjoying the look of these tiles. Classic and contemporary at the same time. So, I guess it would probably be more accurate to describe them as timeless. The individual tiles themselves seem very sturdy and robust. Solid hardwood slats attached to a strong polymer base. Pegs on two sides of the tile base drop into loops that reside on the other two sides to “lock” them together. The only reason I put quotes on that is because the connection system does not have any kind of latch system on the connectors and are easily lifted off of one another. I have worked with other, similar types of floor tiles and they tend to “click” into place when connected so I guess that is just what I’m used to. As long as they remain on a solid floor they are not going anywhere and I suppose that if there is no latch then there are no latch tabs to break off either. These tiles seem to stay together quite well. We had all ten tiles form the kit assembled in just a few short minutes. We used this in front of our kitchen sink, as we have had water problems in the past, leaving us with a total mismatched floor in the kitchen anyway. These are currently in position on top of the flooring we already have, and they do make the area more attractive and more stable. The plan is to make this a little more permanent over Thanksgiving when college boy is home. Put him to work, you know?We are quite pleased with how sturdy these are and with how they look.
