Seemed well built at first. They are solid bowls. Only had them for a week and one is already starting to peel. Only hand washed and dried right away. I guess I didn't realize there was a layer on top to even peel in the first place. Very disappointing. I read the other reviews and thought this was a better product than it actually is. They are smaller than what I expected as far as depth of the bowl goes.
