VERY DISAPPOINTING !! We installed four of these shades 14 months ago. We are careful in raising and lowering them as they are cordless. Yet, two of the four shades have ripped in several places, the plastic rods have fallen out, and the ripped shades only go up half way now. We will never purchase a shade like this in the future and will find an alternative solution.

I read the reviews and took the chance and ordered the shades. Installation time, including removing the old blinds, approximately 45 minutes. Some other reviewers mentioned the screws. I do have to admit, if you are hanging them from the ceiling or inside the top of the window frame, you will want to get smaller head screws so the shades can "snap in" to the mounts easier. My old blinds had smaller screws, so I reused a few of those. The supplied screws are not high quality, I broke a head off one after predrilling a pilot hole. Not all was lost as there was enough broken screw sticking out to back out the broken screw with pliers. Other reviewers complained about wrinkles, well yes, they are wrinkled. If it bothered me enough, I would either steam them or iron them, I figure they will eventually straighten out. I am not sure about the "sheerness" star rating. I rated "sheerness" at 1 star because you really can not see through them and light does not come through either. The shades are a roll up type with a Roman shade front, these are cordless. I am very pleased and would consider buying more of these shades.

I was initially very impressed with this shade for my toddler’s room, but it will no longer retract back up after 5 weeks of very minimal use. It stayed down the majority of the time. Very disappointed that the return window is so short and that the product was a waste of money.

This item was delivered on June 23rd but I just installed it two weeks ago. The pros: The shade appeared to be very well made, the fabric was as described, looked very nice on the window and it provided about 95% blackout, which was great. The cons: This shade was a nightmare to install. Followed the directions to the letter but couldn't get the clips to snap into the rail. After a lot of time and frustration, I discovered it wouldn't install correctly due to the second screw on the clip. The screw impeded the function of the locking mechanism. I installed using only one screw and was able to get it to function without a problem. The next con is that the plastic rods on the back side of the shade fall out every time the shade is raised. The most annoying con is that the shade functioned properly only for two weeks and then, when in the lowered position, would slowly raise up on its own within just a few minutes. This wasn't an inexpensive shade and now I'm stuck with a defective shade that won't stay in the lowered position. Incredibly disappointed with this purchase.

Great quality! Wonderful blackout effect. I love a low lit cafe feel and these give me that while also allowing me to easily open and let the sunshine in if I choose. Easy to use with a lot of sizing options to ensure a custom look at a great price. Loved them so much I ordered more for the rest of my house!
