Worked on my 83 k5 blazer with Hedman hedders. The shorter length allowed me to use plugs that didn't touch or need sleeves on the plug wires. Also has the vehicle running and idling better

Shorter than normal plugs and work better with the new headers. Accel is a great product and my wife swears by them for carbureted small block Chevy.

Did a full tune up on my hot rod. These plugs arrived, as did Covid. After the full tune up, I test drove my car and when I accelerated it would "miss" - it was terrible. It took a long time to trace it back to the problem. After hours of testing, i finally put the original plugs back in. Test drove my car and all is well again. I do not want to test one plug at a time to find which of the new plugs is bad. The new plugs were the problem. Regretfully, due to Covid, I am now past the return date for these plugs.

These are excellent quality. Perfect for a non-computerized small block Chevy. The non-resistor gives a hotter spark plug voltage for more complete combustion

I wasn't aware that Accel made plugs about one half inch shorter. This really helps clear the header pipe on certain cylinders. I have a cheap set of Black Jacks on a SBC. Only problem, the flats on the plug body are closer to the cylinder head. A box wrench is too thick, and I can't get a deep plug socket to fit between the plug and header pipe. The box wrench does work, but you have to get it on just right.
