Have these on my old truck and they lasted a really well always did a good job of lighting up the bed area. Had to get two new ones for my new truck.

Very nice & easy to install. Should provide enough light to see what I need to see w/o being blinding in the dark. Price was reasonable. I suspect the batteries will last a long time with the LEDs. Can be mounted just about anywhere you might want them. Be sure to clean the area with alcohol before attaching them.

I attached one strip to the side wall of the bed of my truck. The adhesive strip worked really well. Illumination is bright enough to see what you need. Two may have been better though. These are very good for the price.

Yet again I purchased a more value truck with no bed lighting. Last time around a tried some simply cabinet motion lights that used USB to recharge. They worked well enough the first summer, but couldn't handle the extreme temps here in Minnesota. This thing is much more robust and waterproof. I chose the non-motion version because I keep stuff in the bed and all the shaking sets it off. So far working great. Not super bright, just bright enough. The 3M tape seems to be holding well on the spray in liner. Looks really good and out of the way. I used 3 Rechargeable AA batteries, hopefully they will only need charging once or twice a year. Sick and tired of buying cheap crap quality, and this appears not to be. Time will tell. So far so good.

I love these lights as I use them on the hard tonneau cover of my truck bed. I position it right in the center and it shines bright enough that I can see everything in the bed, from front to back. I bought the first one in 2014 and it finally died in 2019, which seems strange for LEDs. I think it's actually the switch box and will be looking into it further, but bought another one in the mean time. However, for the right price, it beats hard wiring any day and I've received compliments and questions about where I've gotten them more than once. In 5 years, I may have changed the batteries twice, which will obviously depend on your use. It came with 3M double sided tape which never failed. I can't say how it would fair in an open bed, but it's a sturdy set up, so if the switch box was out of the rain, you might be fine. Just watch for corrosion around the batteries.

Would give zero if I could. Got it with one philips screw already stripped. Worst screws ever maybe use Robinson next time. When I finally got it open and batteries in it shorted out. What a piece of garbage

Works intermittently.Light is bright for truck bed.Screws for battery pack arrived and seem to be stripped already.Turned on once which lasted only 30 seconds before shutting off and wouldn't turn back on. Turns out the battery came loose.

Just what I needed to light the inside of my camper shell. The factory light comes on when the main rear glass is opened. However my shell also has Windoors which allow access on each side through lift up windows. I wanted to have lights on each side so I didn’t have to open the rear glass.Instead of using the 3M tape, I cut the “hook” side of Industrial Velcro and stuck it directly to the tape underside of the battery box and the whole length of the LED strip. The hook Velcro side sticks nicely to the carpeted headliner of the camper shell.One of these strips is enough light for the space, but I wanted one for each side window. The pictures show the amount of light with one strip and then with two.The timer adjustment is an excellent well thought out feature. I left mine on the 3 minute setting and it’s already saved me a set of batteries when I forgot to turn it off.

I bought two of these to put in the bed of a 2014 Ram 1500 pickup with a tonneau cover. They light up the entire bed very well. One would actually work quite well depending on what you have loaded in the bed and whether it blocks light to the other side. Easy to install. I set mine to shut off after 5 minutes. Given that I won't use these all that often I expect the batteries to last a long time. The only inconvenience I see is that you have to unscrew the cover to change the batteries in order to maintain the waterproof seal. Easy to do before installing but a little more awkward once in the truck. I'm very pleased with how these work.
