The hatch is easy to open and close. Just pry it open with a screwdriver and push it to close.
Easy to install
To install into any wall
1 - Trace along the opening of the Access Panel on to the wall.
2- Drill holes on each angle point of the traced square.
3- Saw along the traced line to create the opening starting from a drill hole.
4- Apply caulking along the inside flange of the Access Panel Door.
5- Push the Access Panel into the opening and that's it!

This is a sturdier access panel than I expected to receive! Even the door itself is a sturdy plastic that isn’t flimsy and bendable. Very easy to install. Used it to access bathtub connections. I didn’t glue it on because I was able to get a tight fit and think I’m going to need a bit larger panel. Plan to save this one for later use elsewhere.

Product is labeled incorrectly as a 22“ x 22” panel but it’s actually a 14“ x 14”.

High quality access door at a fair price. Note that the product measurements are for the actual door and not the door frame. So the 6" x 9" unit with the frame is closer to a 7 x 10 in 'footprint'. Simple smart design that should blend in well when painted.

This door was exactly as described. Dimensions were accurate and it popped into place w/o issue. I used a good quality adhesive and the door works great. Will buy another for a future planned project.

Easy to install using caulk adhesive, light-weight so it stays on ceiling installations. Great solution for an access panel.
