Looks like it came from the factory. Honda Super Cubs don't have any room to spare on the handle bars, so this is the best option for a phone charger in my case. Installation was easy and it works as it should. The only con would be that the little disk that turns to reveal the charging ports is pretty cheap. Handle with care.

East install, without removing fairing- feed wire through small hole in fairing behind original OEM cover towards right side, zip tie USB wire to a straightened coat hanger, from the front of the fairing feed wire/hanger down frame tube on right side, grab wire end with hands (with battery cover removed), plug into accessory socket in battery area. You do need to use OEM clips from original cover and slip on the USB cover clips.Works great, only draws power when key is on. Nice blue illumination aroun USB port.

Product fits and functions well. Installation challenging to remove/replace the leg shield. Having the factory service manual helped a lot.

Routing the wire from the base plate down to the battery is tricky. I did it without removing the leg shields using two long zip ties as guide. The rest was easy.
