We must buy hundreds of these for our CPA practice over the years. Never disappointed and never have had a bad one.

Each year after filing my income taxes I print a final hardcopy, staple it, and save it in a file. Unfortunately this year's taxes were too fat for my stapler. I didn't want to buy a big expensive stapler just to use once per year, so I bought a set of ACCO Pressboard Report Covers. The tax papers are secure and they don't take up too much space in my files. Problem solved. I recommend this product because they are sturdy, cheap, and effective. P.S.: This is absolutely an independent and unsolicited review.

I bought these to save a sample of my daughters yearly work since we are homeschooling. Its perfect because the clips are at standard 3-hole punch intervals (there are only two clips at the ends), so I was able to punch all my pages in 4 big bunches. They are sturdy enough and I can write on the cover what is inside.I wish the width was a half inch or so wider. Some of her papers are a bit over standard letter sized and they stick out. Minor thing.

Easier to hold & use than ring binders; much lighter weight; fit well in brief case. Fit well in bookcase, (you do not need to use black ink on paper edge - skillful folding of 8 x 5 card and label gun create attractive spines.) If you need to hold more paper than binder can hold, ACCO also sells replaceable prongs and you can enlarge any time. Binders will stand up very well between book-ends providing you get the high & wide heavy duty type. My library holds hundreds of these binders (using for apprenticeship I developed), they get a lot of use. Additionally, McMaster-Carr sells an adhesive backed document protector (8603T21), that covers entire front cover of ACCO binder allowing you to insert a full size cover sheet for your "book"(some trim on top). Ordinary sheet protectors will stick out slightly, but with the many positives mentioned...who cares.
