I have a ‘21 GMC Sierra 1500 and after several oil changes the factory bolt was pretty bad, so I bought this one to replace it. Although Amazon says it’s not compatible it worked great, exactly the same as the original but with more material for the socket to get a hold of.

After fighting, chiseling, and hammering an easy out on the factory 15mm bolt, get this instead. Deeper 14mm bolt gets a better hold on the socket, especially for those who do spill and fills to keep transmission fluid fresh.

The ATF plug on my pan had a shorter hex on it and would round off before being able to get it loose. This replacement has a deeper head on it allowing more surface area for the socket to grab onto. I was able to get the old one off with a torch and pounding on a 9/16 socket.

Good quality hardware. A lot of surface area to fit inside socket. had to use an easy out ( red box) I hammered it on the bolt to get it out. Cheers, Miles.

I needed a replacement oil drain plug for my 2020 Silverado, this is AC Delco an OEM part and works as it should.
