The 1.4 ecotec has a litany of known/common issues. PCV valve leak, plastic and cheap water pump, and on. At 123k miles now, I had to address small oil leak from the solenoid. Vs replacing the seals, I opted to replace the whole thing. Others have written/reviewed on this subject. Worked for me. Easy job. 4 bolts, plug an play. No regrets. Cheaper to just replace seals….but the safer and better in the long run to use these. Imo.

I broke the electrical tab off my OEM while changing the water pump. This caused the CEL to come on, replaced with this part and it went away. All seems fine now.

Bought to replace Intake and Exhaust (same unit, just rotate when installing to reach harness) for 2013 Cruze, 1.4L, LT, (234,000+ miles)Replace just the gaskets a year ago, but still leaking oil through the unit internally some how and wicking out the electrical connection. Caught it early enough, no damage or engine code thrown.
