So it died after 4 years of light driving and caused a lot of stress and money trying to figure out what it was. I would expect it to last a little longer than that.

My original fuel pressure regulator had a slow saturation leak around it, not too bad, but the smell of fuel on a humid day was noticeable, and having any fuel on the engine isn’t a good thing, let alone a leak. Replacement was effortless, and this part was a direct replacement for my 04 Cavalier. Good price too and prime which was nice.

Changed a leaking regulator with this one. I had some confusion as many reviews said this didn't include the o ring. Well I can tell you that this one (ACDelco 12574339 GM Original Equipment Fuel Injection Pressure Regulator Kit with Regulator, Seal, and Bolt ) included everything as described. Just bolt it on.

The cavalier had a bad fpr on it. Fuel was coming through the vacuum line and into the intake which meant the rubber diaphragm in it was deteriorated. Ended up buying this one because it’s ACDelco and Amazon had it cheaper than anywhere else. It was very easy to install and should last another 150k miles. The car seems to be running better so no complaints here!

needed to buy this regulator as the factory GM piece was leaking into the intake wasting alot of fuel. Changed as fast as I found out fuel was pooling in the factory intake. Fuel mileage went back to stock and more peace of mind there is no longer a fuel leak in my 04 cavalier.
