My cammed 5.3 with VVT utilizes a phaser limiter block that has to be installed inside of this phaser. I purchased a Dorman one awhile back and tried to transfer over my limiter to the new phaser but the dorman one was not made 100% to spec so I couldn’t install it. Returned that and got this ac Delco oem phaser (should’ve from the beginning) and was able to complete my transfer of the limiter and install the new phaser on my engine rebuild.
