Excellent fit, looks just like the one that came on the car, granted installation was a bit of a pain but dropping the gas tank would have taken much much longer! Installed and probably solved!

Thank you T.Amazonista for your review. I have been reading the Solstice forum for several years and there is so much bad advice, such as drop the tank, lower the rear end… It was important to vacuum (shop vac) the vent hose ( the largest one on the canister). I was able to clear several handfuls of charcoal chips. Problem resolved!!! Yay T.Amazonista!!!

Have to cut trunk to get access to this on the Saturn Sky, but it's not as hard as it looks to do.Clean out all charcoal bits from failed vapor canister from the lines, there is one line that you cannot take off easily, clean it from the other side. Best to use vacuum cleaner with a combo of blowing with air nozzle to get all the junk out. I even pressurized the tank from the fill nozzle to loosen things up to get even more charcoal out. These are made to be vertically mounted, when they were placed in the Sky/Solstice, they were mounted horizontally. The filter eventually slips down and lets all the charcoal into your evap lines. Don't overfill gas, when the nozzle shuts off, just stop. From what it looks like pumping more to get an even number or just a bit more gas in the tank overflows into this system, possibly degrading a poor design even faster.
