Gas cap for 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 stopped clicking when closing. It is important it does that so you don't get a check engine light if the gas cap is not tight for the fuel system. So I bought this one to replace the old one. Once installed, it clicks shut as advertised.Very easy install, cable attachment clicks in place on the fuel door arm once you removed the old one.. The hardest part was pulling the old attachment off the door arm; just use quality pliers and pull it off (came off in pieces for me). You might want to leave old gas cap in place when removing the cable attachment from the arm to avoid a broken piece going down fuel pipe.
