I'm a mechanic by trade I should have known better. 05 Civic. Did timing belt and replaced seal. Of course I destroyed factory seal taking it out. The circumference of the seal was accurate but this seal was much more shallow than than the factory seal. It leaks and I have to do it again. Luckily it's my personal vehicle. Go with a Honda seal!

Installed on a 2003 Toyota Matrix XR. It helped stop a leak that began after I replaced the original seal about two years ago with a National brand seal. Go with the AC Delco instead of other brands.

This seal (Part #223802) is NOT a "Crankshaft Front Oil Seal". It looks more like a camshaft oil seal, way too small for a crankshaft. I finally had time to work on my 3.3 Liter Sienna Van and discovered this was the wrong part. Unfortunately, the time has run out to return it. So I'm out some money and inconvenienced by three days. What a hassle.
