The holes where the fan mounts to unit are 3 inches center to center. They need to be 3 and 5/16.Does not fit a 1973 corvette as advertised

An ACDelco part, but not the correct fan clutch for my 1976 Corvette even though Amazon says it is.The flange is too small and shorter than the correct one for my car.Luckily, with Amazon returns are super easy so I sent it back the same day. Took it to a local UPS store and they scanned the code Amazon sent to my phone and they did the rest.Ended up buying an aftermarket fan (that actually fits), at a local auto parts store.

purchased for 1978 Corvette with stock fan. I am sure unit is good quality, but the bolt holes on the fan will not line up with the clutch. description on Amazon said it would work......

At least twice the size of the original. Looked awkwardly large for the application. No mounting hardware and original hardware doesn't work.
