My LEFT Bronco window operation was beginning to have issues after many years of use - glass jumping or jittery while being raised. (Most likely badly worn internal discs were the cause). My right window motor completely stopped raising or lowering the door glass, so I decided to purchase both window motors for this vehicle. With inspection of my original RIGHT WINDOW motor, after removal, was the 3 internal nylon discs were completely gone rendering it inoperable - I figured my driver's side wasn't too far behind. My options were to purchase a rebuild kit or to just purchase a brand new motor - with the way things are these days, the cost of the kit was more than half of what this motor cost, so I purchased both motors. Shipping was quick and upon inspection, the replacement motors looked good, all metal parts and extra long wiring with the exact terminal plug attached.Please note: You will have to use your original factory screws to make threads in the (3) screw mounting locations on this motor prior to installing in your door. Installation was a snap and the motors raise and lower the door glass perfectly. Both motors operate very well and seem to be consistent in speed from the driver's side compared to the right side. I would purchase this/these "ACI" motors again.

Like many others experienced, product was delivered in a timely manner and after installation it moved the window up and down just fine. Problem is the gear that meshes with the regulator is not keyed to the shaft. Instead the steel gear has a hexagonal end that slips into an aluminum base set inside the worm wheel. I installed it 28DEC2021 and the aluminum failed 04DEC2023. Considering this was the replacement for the original 1992 motor I am disappointed its longevity.

The item works when it is cool outside but when it gets hot outside it will go down but it will not go back up at all

They make a clicking racket like the gears don’t matched up right but it does work
