I use these type (4 pin 30A) cords often with one of my generators and as a backup power cord (with an adapter) for my RV. I like the bright orange heavy duty jacket because it is not only highly visible, but resistant to abrasion. Both ends (M and F) are molded and attached securely to the cord. I also like that is comes with a cord keeper type lanyard so you can store it coiled. It mates tightly to my other cord and my generator. No issues at all with this cord. I also use this cord with another similar cord and adapter when I need to run a larger current drop cord over to some portable tools. The pricing is right in line with other similar cords of this length and is a good fit for your shop.

The extension cord is 10 gauge and rated for 30 amps. Usually these can be a bit bulky to use and difficult to wrap up. This cord lays flay out of the box and wraps up easily without feeling cheap. The plugs are high quality and work flawlessly. Exactly what I need to plug an external generator into my RV.

This cable is thick, well-made, and durable. It coils without a fuss, and the connectors are solid. The best part, though, is the cable tie with a handle that came with it. It makes it easier to carry around and store on the wall, a quality value-add that I appreciate.
