I am a retired Merchant Marine Captain and for the last five years I have been a full time life aboard on our 40 year old Sailboat with my wife. We are traveling the world and I would never do it without this EBIRP.A few years ago I got caught in a storm in the FL keys. My boat sank and I activated the device. It does exactly what it promises and it works very easy (it gets activated by water) . Having it aboard creates such a piece of mind. This newest model has amazing features, we are especially interested in the new RLS function. The App is very easy to use and this device and the company behind it offer such an amazing service.Sailors know, out there, having a device like this can decide over life and death. This is a very small investment for a five year warranty and a ten year lifespan.
