I bought this plastic box to encase an important Cue Ball of my collection. The plastic has zero warpage, zero bubbles. Completely translucent. My VIP Cue Ball stands perfectly centered on its pedestal. There's only one "Con" regarding this item: it has NO outstanding base to affix a metallic plaque. The plastic box slides flush with the black base. Note:An encasing with base and metallic plaque might be your better option for a few $$ more. Hope this helps.

There is a 1/2" scratch on one side of the acrylic case. I put it in the back so its not visible unless you really look.

This makes a great gift for somebody who has a baseball that's special to them. Our grandson was awarded a game ball after one of his little league games, and we gave this to him as a gift to show off the ball. The case is inexpensive yet made of high quality materials and looks good in any setting.

The acrylic case does not securely fit on the base so in other words, if you want to lift this display for any reason you need two hands, one for the acrylic top and one hand for the base. If people want to look at this ball and pick up the acrylic top only, the display falls apart and your ball comes crashing down onto the floor where it can get ruined.
