My son’s been learning how to write and this thing has honestly become his go-to. He’s always asking me how to spell stuff, then runs off and grabs this board to practice writing it himself. He loves switching the colors and showing off whatever he wrote once it lights up—very proud little moments. It’s super fun and easy to use, but I’ll be honest—it’s not perfect. You pretty much have to use it with the lights on, or you can’t really see what’s written on it. Also, the included markers are decent, but I’ve noticed they need a little extra effort to wipe off. You can’t just dry erase and go like with a normal whiteboard. Sometimes I have to spray it or dampen a cloth to fully clean it off. That said, for what it is, it’s been a great creative tool that keeps him off a screen and excited to practice writing. He thinks it’s the coolest thing ever, and that’s a win in my book.

This dry erase board is cute. I have enjoyed using it with a couple of modifications. I am using it in my office to display short inspirational quotes. Here is why I am not giving it a full 5 stars:- Buyers should know that despite the product including two packages of 7 colored pens for use with the board, the colors tend to change when the LED lights are put on. I am including photos of a quote with purple ink on top, blue ink in the middle, and green ink on the bottom and they way it looks without the LED lights and with two different LED light settings.- The included stand is a nice stand that seems to be of good quality. However, when used properly the included stand makes the slant of the dry erase board too severe. I had to push the legs that hold the front closer together and change the angle of the back so that the board is not as secure to keep it from displaying at about a 45 degree angle.- I am using it with a piece of paper behind it between the stand and the board, because I don't think it looks great with just the ink and the lights; It's too transparent/translucent. The stand really shows through in a way that is distracting. I have seen similar produces with clear plastic stands, and I think those would probably look better.I cannot give it five stars, but I will enjoy using it as modified!

Fun all around! My daughter got this for a birthday gift and Loved how you can write notes, draw pictures on the tablet and it glows up. The markers worked well and there was a variety of colors. The board also doubles as a nightlight so hooray for a two in one gift. The board was easy to set up and was ready to write and draw on within minutes, great for any age and any occasion. 5 stars all the way.

My 13 year old grandson tried this out. The plastic strip with the lights that the tablet fits into was very tight and we had trouble putting that part on because we thought we would break it. There were 2 packages of markers, all different colors, that you can draw on the board with. My grandkids prefer a tablet to play games or watch videos on, and this doodle board is not that much cheaper than a smart tablet. This would be a good choice for a road trip, especially after dark. This is more like a desktop display than a useful item. As a toy, it does not hold interest long with tech savvy kids, and once the novelty of the colors wears off, it's just meh. Works as described, though not very bright.
