I ordered this for our Space Center's Planetarium. We needed a podium but it needed to look modern. This podium fits that need perfectly. It look great in the dome as seen in the photos. I'm 6 foot 1 in. The podium is a bit low for me but works. My notes are just high enough to see well.Assembly was easy so no worries there. The podium is NOT the kind you can lean on while speaking. As you see, the base is small compared to the note surface which is why I gave it three stars for sturdiness. I would also advise against moving it by holding the note surface. Pick it up by the stem to transport.Overall, it is sturdy enough for notes but not to lean on which is why I'll not let students mess around with it.

I had high hopes for this. It looks nice but after two uses it no longer can stand flat. It wobbles and the surface does not secure in place. I do not recommend purchasing.

I love this acrylic podium. It added elegance to my event. The quality is great but I preferred not to lean on it. It was easy to assemble and the price was right.
