Very well made product with thick steel. Door does not come out of frame making install a little difficult. Pictures of product lack detail to show how it needs to be installed.

High quality, well built and decently priced. I was looking for better quality access doors for a while before finding the Acudor. The one piece frame design makes the unit stable and gives it a better finished look.

I needed an access door to install in my garage wall and after much research I opted for Acudor as the price was reasonable and the specifications matched what I was looking for (size of opening, hidden hinge, and mounting to drywall).The access panel looks nice once installed however the paint on the front frame was poorly done. An entire side of the frame had a coat of white paint that was too thin so you can see the color of the underlying metal. Given my panel is installed just below the 10ft ceiling, I can't see the defect.The installation was quite quick. I positioned the panel against a stud on the left and the header (?) along the top edge. Three wood screws were enough to secure the frame to the wall very solidly (2 on the side and 1 on the opposite top end). I believe the drywall in my garage is 3/4" and the screw holes were just beyond that so it worked nicely.The only CONS of this product was that I do not believe you can remove the door so it made installation just a bit harder (putting screws in on the hinge side) however I got it done so with the right tools you should not have any issues.
