Please note: I changed my review... see below...First, the ad shows the lens with a nice little material protective bag.It did not have that bag! If I see an ad for something and I pay for it, I EXPECT to receive what's in the ad. When parts are not there, then it's not what I ordered. Now, on the positive side, this does work well. I'm using it for my electronic microscope. At first, it didn't seem to have much effect at all. But then, I realized that I also need to have polarizing filters on the 2 LED light sources. The microscope uses 2 LED lights on flexible arms.I designed adapters for the LEDs lights to hold lenses of old 3D glasses, which are polarized and now it all works well. I can now swing this lens and the polarization effect is excellent.I do recommend this lens! As long as you don't need the nice little material bag.

This filter soften my images. Slightly blurry. Better off spending more money for better quality

The filter is good and does its job. The ad shows a case but there was no case included.

Works really well in bright outdoor conditions. No distortion or major color change to pictures. We use it on the Neewer ls-18 wide angle lens mount for Sony zv-1. Only issue i have is, when my zv-1 is zoomed all the way out, i can see a black ring in my picture (24mm-27mm). Anything larger than that is fine. I'm sure its because of the way I'm using it with a wide angle adaptor, you probably wont have that issue using regular lenses.

I purchased this for my Sigma 105mm 1.4 lens that I use for automotive photography. The front element is rather large and the filter thread is 105mm. I purchased the polarizer for both cutting down on reflections on vehicle surfaces as well as protection of the lens front element. The polarizer works, but is very difficult to rotate. So difficult to the point I have ended up either loosening or over tightening the polarizer to the lens (depending on the direction I’m rotating). I’m a bit disappointed but you get what you pay for. At least it protects my lens as it’s quite expensive. I rather buy another polarizer (a better quality one will be more expensive) for a few hundred dollars than an $1500 lens.
