I am an interfaith chaplain whose studies majored in eastern religions. I bought a few of these japamalas (mala means "garland" in Sanskrit) last year. I was concerned with the elastic cord not holding up yet I haven't had one break yet. On the plus side the "Indian Agate" beads grow more lustrous with use. I buy these to give away.I have just purchased a few more. Repeat business is the best testament I can give. Now if the seller offered bulk discounts I would be first in line! Even at regular prices these malas are a great value not just for the money but for what they bring to those who receive and use them.
