ADC's Adscope 613 Teaching Stethoscope provides two headsets that allow teacher and student to listen simultaneously. The stethoscope uses the combination chestpiece from our popular Adscope 603, which offers AFD technology and a combination diaphragm/bell precisely machined to exacting tolerances from surgical stainless steel. The ultra-sensitive diaphragm offers greater amplification and crisper high-frequency transmission, while the extra-large bell provides unsurpassed low-frequency response. The two clinician headset features reinforcing yoke molded into flexible phthalate-free PVC tubing, stainless binaurals, and Adsoft Plus snap-on silicone eartips for the ultimate in wearing comfort and acoustic seal. Includes a scope ID tag and two additional pairs of Adsoft Plus eartips in a convenient storage case. Lifetime warranty and free parts forever.

I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality. This particular brand is priced quite a bit higher than others but worth it when teaching manual blood pressure.

The connector is crap. It wouldn't transmit sound because the connector was clogged with plastic left over from its construction. Even after trimming the excess plastic, the connector wouldn't hold the stethoscope together. I had to go to the hardware store to get a brass connector to use it.

Zero stars is more appropriate for the sound quality. Only one side of the ear pieces worked and it was still muffled. Very poor quality for teaching.

Length could be shorter. When teaching newbies manual BP's all the "cords" get tangled up, once they are straight excess bangs together making it harder to hear for the student. I suspect I can cut it down - but would be nice not to have to.

An excellent teaching stethoscope. The colors are excellent, the length is just right, the ear pieces are nice and soft and the item is very durable. I really like the black/blue color .. Blue for me and black for the student.Et

I'm an EMT teaching other firefighters in my department how to take BP's. The best way to accomplish this is by listening with them and this stethoscope does exactly that. I'm very impressed with this stethoscope. It's a huge help and it came on time and undamaged. I definitely recommend this too anytime teaching others how to take vitals.
