Hard to keep the settings on human, always bounces to inanimate object and so impacts on accuracy. Wish I bought a different type with no setting other than for people.

I tried several of these, finding that most aren't very accurate. This one is the first that seems to be accurate. It isn't easy to use. I just keep trying until it gives me a reading. When it does, it seems accurate.

Wish I would have read the reviews a little bit closer seeing that most of the reviews on there are not even for this thermometer they are for an oral thermometer. Still trying to see if the temperature is accurate or not because it changes from one second to the next which it's kind of weird and a lot of times we all end up having the same exact body temperature when we take our temperature so I honestly don't even think it's accurate. And I can't return it.

I like how accurate it is the only issue is that you have to push the button twice to get the temperature unlike other thermometers you only need to press it once.

I bought this for my wife to use by herself, but it takes another person to hold it for the readings. Standard body temps were always off by -5 or -10 degrees. And I bought this over a month ago for a gift for her, and now I can't return it due to the 30 day return policy - my fault for being stupid enough to order something too soon.
