Overall great set of lights. I like the warm glow and that it came in 3 strands with connectors so you can be creative in how you run the lights! Great price for the number of lights!

This was a great deal that worked exactly as planned. If your neighbors spend more time trying to secretly stare at you as you make each step at night, and you want to help them to not miss any of the warm greetings you send their way, buy these and place them all close together. They’ll look like Gizmo the Gremlin when they take that latest glance and squeal, “Bright lights! Bright lights!” That, alone, makes the purchase high quality!

Right out of the box, the first thing I do is screw a bulb into each of the sockets and initially two of them don't turn on. I replace one of the bulbs with another, and it lights up, no problem. Checking the other, the socket has to hang at a specific twist and angle for it to work. Kind of a frustrating issue to have right out of the box, but what can I expect for what I got for the price. I'll keep it for now, but if the problem gets worse I will return and edit my rating. Also a shame I don't have an extra bulb now, which was one of the reasons I bought this brand...

The cord and sockets are sturdy. The bulbs screwed in easily and appeared tight to waterproof. There was even an extra bulb! Nice! We hung the strand around the top of the balcony, plugged them in and enjoyed them immediately. It has been several weeks. We've had rain and they seem to be staying waterproofed.I would recommend these lights highly.

I'm highly impressed with the quality and durability of construction grade. It's definitely worth every dollar and your final look is flawless how you decide to mount. My configuration is a covered patio with matching open ends with sunshades. The Edison vintage decor is the final touch to accent and give that retro ambiance. I used a 3/4" brass hooks anchored to joint runners.

These lights are really great. They illuminate the area they need to light up and are warm. Not temp wise but just... Soft n warm so nice. We bought two, strung them together outside under our awning for our hot tub. Absolutely gorgeous.They have survived two bad wind storms, multiple thunderstorms... Very durable cable and bulb connectors. I was worried the bulbs wouldn't last a storm, but proper placement has yeilded great results.

I fortunately I am now the proud owner of a brand new bunch of lights. Had to return these due to malfunction. After the first rain storm many of the lights blew out. Hence the rating of weatherproofing and sturdiness. They did however looked great when I first put them up. They offered a lot of light. I did end up spending a little more money on what I think will be a better brand and this time I went with LED lights. They’re an Amazon brand and they are white and they are simply magnificent. So glad I changed over to the white, as it is less recognizable on the sides of my house. As for the remote control, I didn’t ever expect to get a remote control with this light set. But I did read how misleading it is. You have to purchase the remote control separately. Luckily enough I had already purchased one and that works great too. I can save money by turning the lights on and off when I want.
