Never holds Zero. It shuts off while shooting. I used the gasket as recommended because they know it has a shutoff issue. All screws are tight and thread locked. Stay clear of this junk. Save your money.

If you go to the range often these are okay, but dont expect a top tier red dot. They were holding a decent zero for maybe 5 range visits after started a little iffy, dropped twice had to zero and thats kinda where my issues started. If your planning to run on an airsoft gun id say go for it!

Got the second sight in Feb (first one works fine) the adjustment screws are not working. Went to the warranty link. Get a page saying, cannot be opened. So my experience on 2 of the sights is 50-50. I’ll try another brand in the future.Apparently no warranty

I was very disappointed when I received my ADE RD3-012 PRO red dot today.It would not turn on, I was ready to return it but then I thought I would check the battery to make sure it didn't have paper between the battery and the terminals.It didn't have any paper between the battery and the terminal.So I thought while I have the battery out I will check the voltage of the battery, these batteries must have at least 3 volts in them to operate this red dot. Sure enough the battery was to the point you could call it dead when it comes to operating this red dot, it only had 2.92 volts in it. (these batteries have a voltage of 3.40+ volts when new)I ran to the battery store and picked up another CR1632 battery and installed it and the Red Dot is working perfect now.The thing that makes me mad is when you pay full price ( I could have bought this for way less on e-bay) and get something you need to spend more money on it just to get it working, the CR1632 batteries are not cheap for such a small battery (Over $10.00 for two at the battery store).I really think Amazon or the dealer should send me a CR1632 battery or reimburse me for the price of the battery I had to buy just to get a brand new item to work.Just so everyone knows the ADE RD3-012 PRO Red Dot is working VERY GOOD since I installed the new battery.UPDATE 3/15/24 After having this for a few weeks now I think for the price this is a GREAT RED dot sight. I have shot around 400 .40 caliber shots through it and it held the point of impact perfectly!I do think if I had it to do it over I would go for the Green dot instead of the Red dot, the Red dot is a little hard to see in full sunlight. From my experience Green dot's do a little better in full sunlight.But make no mistake these are VERY GOOD sights comparable to ones costing WAY WAY MORE MONEY.

This thing is absolutely outstanding for $120. I have a vortex Venom on my carry gun and Trijicon RMR type2 for my duty gun. I put this on my Taurus TX22 and love it! I'd buy another one of these over the Vortex. The shake awake is awesome and different sight options are fun to have.

Haven’t been to the range yet to test how it holds up, but the reticle looks great, feels like a quality red dot. Doesn’t feel cheap and the multiple reticle options are crisp and are a really cool feature you don’t see on many of these.

Functions Perfectly – Open design allows almost instant site picture acquisition- "unlimited" eye reliefUnfortunately, or fortunately, we are living in the midst of a rapid evolution of types of “optics ready” pistol slides with a plethora of proprietary mounting systems. You must be careful that you match your “FOOTPRINT TYPE”. The website description is very thorough and carefully explains the necessary type of mounting system. Quoting verbatim, “Comes with Red dot, tool, removeable[sic] picatinny plate with two screws, cover, lens cloth and instruction manual. Fits pistol optic plate/cut that is compatible with Doctor/Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire footprint. Does NOT fit optic plate/cut for RMR, Shield RMS type footprints..”As for me, I will be using the attached Picatinny mounting clamp to attach to the Picatinny Rail attached to my firearm.The manufacturer has high Quality Control standards because the parts were flawless. The windage and elevation adjustments operate smoothly and stay put. The mechanical and optical engineers were really thinking and they designed a great sight. I really like the very useful automatic off and “motion activated” feature. I also choose this “Red Dot” for the double “Red Dot” of a 2 MOA size centered Red Dot within a 32 MOA sized outer circle.I have a severe eye vision problem called “an astigmatism”. My Cornea is distorted and that distortion distorts point images and makes the point image appear as a smear. I did not understand this phenomenon when I got my first tube enclosed Red Dot scope. To me the Red Dot appeared as an hourglass instead of the perfectly round Red Dot it should have been. So, I sent the “defective” Red Dot Scope back and got a replacement. Only to see the same hourglass shape, instead of the perfectly round Red Dot, on the replacement scope. I showed the Red Dot Scope to a more knowledgeable friend of mine and he told me that he saw a perfectly round Red Dot and he explained my eyesight problem and off I went to the eye doctor. It turns out that special contacts can somewhat correct my eye vision problem.I showed this OPEN RED Dot sight to my friend, who has good vision, and he said that the image is perfectly sharp. So, if you think that this OPEN RED Dot scope has a lower quality image, then you need to have your eyes examined and your vision corrected as much as possible. There is a special contact lens that really fixes your astigmatism so that you can see better without as much distortion.
