I am replacing an expensive ion system and the programming and adding fixtures was easy and the work flow is excellent. The pan and tilt effects for moving head are excellent and superior to the much more expensive unit it replaces. Great job ADJ - I do sound and lights 2 to 4 days a week. Solidly built and heavy duty feeling. Great buttons, faders and dials.

I’m a small lighting company with around 150 fixtures of all types I bought this console and I custom made a flight case and got it all ready to go for the summer concert series 1 because of price 2 for its ability to easily input fixture profiles 3 it’s wireless iPad control , 4 number of dmx universes (4) . Ok now this board has all that and other useful things, but it is not a concert lighting desk or even close ! its limited fader control really hurts its capability. I’m old school I guess. But you cannot cue stack , you have to jump from screen to screen for different settings( hard to do during live shows when set list are changing) you can build 32 scenes and save fine but playback is either touch screen iPad or push button on console if you use sub master settings you are limited to 8 scenes unless you advance iPad screen and it kills 32 button matrix which means you have to really pay attention to how you busk this board . I switched from a Martin Mpc with Martin fader wing because I was limited to 1024 channels and I liked the idea of having the iPad for focusing pars , as far as I’m concerned give me back my Martin! UPDATE We’ll I have had a couple months of shows using the Link and all I can say is it’s not the board for me. The fact that you cannot layout fixtures on screen as they are placed on rigging hurts it severely, limited faders hurts it severely, but having to jump from screen to screen makes it impossible to add lib or correct a fixture position and save unless all other scenes are off ( it saves everything) the iPad wireless range is about 30’ in either 2.4 or 5g so the idea of having a front house mix site and taking pad to stage for positioning of fixtures is extremely unlikely ( unless you’re in a very small venue) with the board set up on stage (40’x 30’) my iPad would drop the wireless signal before I got across the stage . It’s not a bad board it does some cool stuff but I expected more

Have used many many many different consoles and software but this is the one the Wins for me.Has a feature not many people know about and is not advertised by ADJ anywhere not even in the user manual. It supports MIDI-Out!So it can be used on any lighting software that allows the use of Midi.100% Recommended

Purchased due to ability to write custom profiles. Only huge problem so far, Pan and Tilt Effects are choppy with my sharpie 7R fixtures. AMDJ support is no help. Of course I get " we've never heard of that before" . I've tried every combo of fine and course 8 and 16 bit settings.... No good.
