The pedestal seat is very good quality. The mounting pattern allows for some flexibility across seat mounting styles. The slide works great. Pontoon seat positions seem a little on the tight side between the console and the front of the seat, for taller people. This mount allow enough sitting room for a comfortable ride, giving me an extra 3-4". The seat post tightens nicely and holds well. It's a high quality mount.
